In our appearance-obsessed, performance-based world, the voices of our culture and our past can easily drown out God’s voice. We can also resist God’s call to use our gifts in leadership, and insecurities can lead to an unhealthy need to prove ourselves. But God has a better way! Speaker: Nancy Ferrin resides in Sandown, NH, where she enjoys being ‘mom’ and ‘grammy’. Over the years she has led many Bible studies, co-founded a weekly support group for families of those struggling with addiction, and spoken at retreats, workshops and mothers’ groups throughout New England.  Nancy wrote two books, one related to healing following the death of an infant and the other to encourage parents of prodigals. She is a former high school math teacher, and currently works full-time as a computer programmer. Nancy loves to encourage women through the Word and describes herself as an ordinary woman who delights in serving an extra-ordinary God.
