In this workshop, we’ll discuss these five conversations, and you’ll receive ready-to-implement tips that will increase your confidence and effectiveness in each one. This is the first in a series of three Zoom workshops with Lori Stanley Roeleveld that will each deal with a different facet of having hard conversations. We hope you will join us for all three!

Lori Stanley Roeleveld is the author of the award-winning book, The Art of Hard Conversations: Biblical Tools for the Tough Talks that Matter.  Winner of AWSA’s Golden Scroll and BRMCWC’s Director’s Choice Award for nonfiction, this book has been on the Amazon bestseller list for Christian ministry. Lori has degrees in Psychology and Biblical Studies and is a trainer in motivational interviewing. She has worked in Rhode Island for over thirty years with teens and families in crisis. She’s also taught high school and women’s bible studies (including one exclusively for black belt women) for over forty years. In that time, she’s had countless hard conversations. Lori’s upcoming book, co-authored with Saundra Dalton-Smith (Sacred Rest), is currently titled Colorful Conversations: 12 Steps Every Christian Can Take Toward Racial Healing.
