Local Ministry Event: Old Testament Conference
April 6, 2019 @ 8:30 am - 3:30 pm
$20
Interested in learning and understanding the redemptive narrative of the Old Testament through six major periods: Creation, Abraham, Sinai, Kings, Exile, and Temple? Key events, people, and biblical books will be placed in their historical and theological context, and you will learn how the Old Testament narrative finds its fulfillment in the New Testament. The acronym for the entire Bible — CASKET EMPTY — points to the empty tomb of Jesus as the center of God’s plan of redemption in the Bible.
Dr. Carol Kaminski teaches courses in Old Testament and Hebrew language at Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary. Her books include: From Noah to Israel: Realization of the Primaeval Blessing After the Flood and Was Noah Good? Finding Favour in the Flood Narrative. She is currently writing commentary on 1-2 Chronicles (Zondervan, Story of God Series). Her research interests include exegesis and theology of Genesis, Old Testament covenants, and biblical theology.
