More Effective Hard Conversations
November 13 @ 10:00 am - 11:15 am$10
Whether we initiate hard conversations or find ourselves on the receiving end, there are biblically informed strategies we can use to increase their effectiveness. In this workshop, we’ll talk practical nuts-and-bolts about starting and ending hard conversations, managing tricky hard conversations, and what to do when a hard conversation goes off the rails. This is the final workshop in our series with Lori Stanley Roeleveld tackling the topic of how to handle hard conversations.
This workshop will take place on Zoom. There will be a teaching session with Lori, a group discussion, and a Q&A at the end. It will be a great way to connect and learn.
Lori Stanley Roeleveld is the author of the award-winning book, The Art of Hard Conversations: Biblical Tools for the Tough Talks that Matter. Lori’s upcoming book, co-authored with Saundra Dalton-Smith (Sacred Rest), is currently titled Colorful Conversations: 12 Steps Every Christian Can Take Toward Racial Healing. In it, Lori and Saundra demonstrate twelve hard conversations about race. You can learn more about Lori and all her books at www.loriroeleveld.com.
