Please Wait … Waiting for Things We Want in a Way That Pleases God
August 7 @ 10:00 am - 11:15 am$10
Waiting is not an easy thing to do. And it is especially hard when you have a vision for the future, a dream of what could be, a passion for what you could accomplish for God, but He says, “Please wait …” This seminar will look at both negative and positive examples of waiting that are found in Scripture. Together we will consider how these biblical lessons teach us how to wait for the things we long for in a way that brings glory to God.
This workshop will take place on Zoom. There will be a teaching session with life coach Susan Moody and group discussion, with a Q&A at the end.
Susan Moody loves to use story and humor to help others learn God’s Truth, and has done so at retreats, conferences, seminars, and worship services. She grew up in Maine where her father was a missionary at New England Frontier Camp. Susan has a BA in Youth Ministry from Gordon College, an MA in Higher Education from Geneva College, and an M.Div from Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary. She is an ordained minister with the CCCC and serves as an interim pastor in NY. She can also hang a spoon off the end of her nose. Her favorite things include cooking, camp songs, sewing, cosmic bowling and connecting with friends and family.
