How the Second Half of Life Can Be the Best Half of Life

June 19, 2021 @ 10:00 am - 11:15 am

$10

Do you sometimes feel on the fringes instead of part of the fabric of our culture? In western society, many middle-aged and older women feel increasingly invisible in a culture that celebrates the young. Join us for a lively hour with author and speaker Maggie Wallem Rowe as we unpack the rich possibilities available to mature women. Whether you’re in the second half or the third trimester of life or you simply aspire to be an older woman someday, we’ll examine issues of ageism as well as four action steps that can help us move into the vibrancy of the best part of life. The joy really is in the journey!

This workshop will take place on Zoom. There will be a teaching session with Maggie and a group discussion, with a Q&A at the end. It will be a great way to connect and learn.

Maggie Wallem Rowe is a national speaker, dramatist, and writer from western North Carolina. Married for 45 years to her pastor-husband Mike, mother of three, and grandmother to six, Maggie’s work includes decades in public relations, adult education, and ministry to women. Maggie’s first book, This Life We Share, was traditionally published when she was 67. Her second book, Life is Sweet, Y’all! will be available from Tyndale House in March 2022.
