Creative and Innovative Ways to Reach Today’s Woman
Does your ministry to women need a reboot? Could you use some fresh ideas and insights? Two experienced women leaders will share their valuable insights from their fruitful ministries, followed by a time of group interaction and discussion.
This breakout session will be facilitated by Pauline Morgan, who loves her big, wide life even though it is not what she always pictured. The adventure she has embarked upon since meeting Jesus at 16 has never failed in the years she has been walking with Him. She loves His Word and every opportunity she has to proclaim, preach, and teach it. The ministry of lovingly encouraging believing women to grow in faith and step out in ministry is closely held in her heart. Pauline enjoys travel, ministry, many different kinds of music, luxury camping, espionage books, and movies. Single with no children, she has a well-developed skill for spoiling her grown nieces and her friends’ children. She’s hoping for more time to devote to a new hobby of watercolor painting … that is, if life slows down! Pauline is the Together Groups coordinator at by design and one of our Women’s Leadership Training instructors. She is also one of the featured speakers in by design’s Speakers Directory and is available to come and speak at your church or women’s event. You can learn more about Pauline and the topics that she offers by visiting her profile at our online Speakers Directory.
Overwhelmed? Burned Out? You Could Use a Life Coach!
The biggest question asked by women in ministry is “How can I balance it all?” Have you ever wondered how you can keep going at the pace you have set? Have you ever wished someone would come alongside you and help you set goals so that you aren’t so overwhelmed? What if you could figure out what truly needs doing and what you should release?
A life coach is someone who comes alongside you and helps you maneuver the changes in your life with greater confidence and excitement. Working on short term goals that reach toward the bigger ones, you can see progress, week by week as you get closer to being the person God wants to be.
The first part of our session will include information about lifecoaching, what it is and what it isn’t. We will look at the reasons you might need a coach and how to find one.
The second half of our time will be a group coaching session. We will learn about prioritizing our tasks, including rest and play. We will figure out one thing we are doing that we can let go and one thing that will be our focus for the month of February.

Breakout for a Cause! LuoPads: Relieve Suffering, Restore Dignity, Reveal Hope
Without access to feminine hygiene supplies, women in developing countries cannot leave their homes. They are often shunned during their monthly cycle, and many girls miss 20 percent of the school year. YOU can help women reclaim control of their lives and health and learn that Jesus loves them.
LuoPads are easy to make and will be distributed, free to charge, to women in need. At this breakout session, you can help make these great reusable pads. Not crafty? No worries! If you can trace a line, you can help! Tracing, cutting, and hand-stitching are all that’s involved. If you can do one of these things, come and join us! Click here to read more about LuoPads.
We’re also looking for people who would be willing to donate some of the ingredients. We’ll need
- Towels or washcloths (new or used)
- Flannel cloth (like flannel sheets)
Whether or not you’re planning to attend this breakout session, we’d love to have you contribute some of these things! Please contact us if you can help! Thank you!
This breakout session will be facilitated by Kimberley Minch. Kimberley is a student at Northeastern University majoring in Architecture and minoring in Songwriting.
